The Battle of Austerlitz is Napoleon’s most famous victory. On December 2, 1805, the Grande Armée defeated the Russo-Austrian Army and destroyed the Third Coalition against the French Empire. It is also known as the Battle of the Three Emperors : Emperor Napoleon I against Tsar Alexander I and Francis II, Holy Roman Emperor.
